I know some of the Pagan characteristics of christmas such as the tree, but not really anything else. I don't celebrate any of them other than Christmas, and Fourth of July which probably has some pagan backing as well. Oh and of course Halloween, which is my favorite, and maybe the most paganistic. Reading a lot is a great thing by the way.

I think the Fourth of July/Independence Day and Mother's Day are the only American holidays that don't emulate Pagan practices. Feel free to ask a similar question about Christmas and I'll try to give you as much as I can there as well. There isn't enough room to do it in comments alone.
