Hmm, most people want it the other way around, but to answer your question.. Not that I currently know of. If I were you, I would take it to your local electronics shop or major retail outlet and tell them what you're looking to do. They would be able to help you the most.

There is. IF you have a dvd and a vcr hooked up to a tv, you can put a dvd into the player, press play and hit record on the vcr (having a blank tape in the vcr of course). The VCR should record what's being played. At least there's a way I know we do it at our house.

Even if you have a DVD and VHS hooked up to a TV, most new DVDs have a copyright protection on it. If you try to copy it to VHS, the pictures will come up scrambled. I know because I've tried to copy some movies.

Yes, you would need to use a pc and software such as DVD Dycrypter to remove the Macrovision copy protection. The use a video output to you VCR to record the DVD file as you play it back. Alternatively you could burn the de-crypted DVD back to a single sided DVD and play it in your DVD player if it can be connected to you VCR
