I've used my blame in last elections votes and voted AGAINST my representatives that supported Bush's programs. I voted FOR state and local official's who's agenda I support. I blame the crimminal government of Bush and Cheney and especially blame those people that voted twice for them. I'm waiting for results from the current administration in Federal and State power before I blame anyone there. If they fail, I will also blame myself. I have been voting for 40 years. This is the first time I ever had a President I voted for, win. So, if this administration fails, I will be the one to blame.

I take it this is the same guy who developed the "Peter Principle" which states that people will be promoted to the level of their incompetence? That Peter? Well, I say "duh" to that. Of course people blame the guy in charge..it doesn't take a brain surgeon or nuclear physicist to figure that out. That is not why we elect a particular person however. If that were the case McCain would have won and not Obama. We elect the person whom we believe can do the job. While this quotation may be amusing it is so simplistic and superficial and, well, "duh" that I would say "tell me something I don't already know!" :)

In my country, India, Election process is under way and we will have new Government by the end of May. The man in charge now is the Prime Minister. Dr. Manmohan Singh. But I will not blame him for anything that went wrong in the past 5 years under his Government. The entire blame will go to the Communist Party of India General Secratary, Prakash Karat, who kept blocking the Governments way till about 6 months back when Dr. Manmohan Singh unshackled himself from the communists. There is no guarantee that the present Prime Minister will get another term after the elections. Still I would want the communists out of the reckoning when the election is over.

If you vote purely for a scapegoat then you deserve nothing less than poor governance. I blame the local and state officials who slowly, but surely erode our civil liberties and institute laws that punish people for not conforming to what is "pretty" such as painting your house unapproved colors, usury laws, outside storage laws, not being able to park your car in your own driveway, neighborhood associations that force residents to join against their wills and many, many other power grabbing and money grubbing tactics.
