No I just answer then look at the avatar.

Every now and then.. I know a few trolls who DR everything they don't personally approve of and if i notice it I just skip right over them. ;)

No. No one does that, I believe. Over a period of time we get to know who asks the questions we enjoy answering. Even if they change their profile name and avatar together at the same time, we will still know who is asking the questin. Answering depends on the interest the question evokes and the amount of thought it provokes.

No, I decide based on the question.
-
No I base it on the question. +5

I prefer the questions of my likings!
-
no way. it's kinda hard to do that on this website because it shows who answers the question last not the questioner avatar unless it's unanswered. anyhow, nope either way.
-
I answer the ones that grab my attention. The avatars are so small it's hard to make out what some of them are anyway! I use the avatars simply to recognise members.

No, I decide based on the question.

1) No, because I usually decide to select a question for answering it at the moment where I see the question in some question list. And except for the unanswered questions, the avatar that you see in the list is the avatar of the last person *answering* the question, not that of the asker. So I usually not consider this in the beginning, except for the new questions. And very often, if I find a new question interesting, I answer it, regardless of the asker. 2) After I took that first choice, I open the question view and have a look at the other answers. And also, at the username and avatar of the asker. At that point, the main reason for me to take the final decision to answer the question or not is usually not the asker, but rather the other answers. If I think that I can bring new information, I would give an answer myself. If not, I would just rate the best answers and not answer myself. The avatar or username of the asker is not very important then. But in some cases, it could still have some importance.

No. I answer question based on whether I can provide an answer. I don't look at the avatar when answering.

There are a few people with whom I don't get along so I avoid interacting with them. If they choose to answer a question of mine I try to be polite but I never engage. Other than that, I answer a question because I find it interesting or intriguing. Some avatars are quite offputting but I ignore the avatar and name..I figure such people are needy for attention and are willing to do anything including have vulgar/crude avatars to do so. I find out soon enough if that person is like his/her avatar. Sometimes it's like the Wizard of Oz..you know, all smoke and mirrors! :)

I respond to the question itself.
-
..I'm purty new here and still feelin my way around, so I look for questions I like.....maybe when I've been here awhile I'll look for the avatars of the peeps who ask Q's I like.......yep..
-
not generally. no. ;D
-
Nope. I think doing that makes no sense.
-
Not usually, no. Although I will read answers from people I find interesting if I see they've answered it. Speaking of which, I might change back to my house avatar
