yes. his mom is a bitch, but i act all nice towards her, and some of his friends are complete assholes but i put up with it. i hate conflict so i act nice.

Nope.. If I don't like someone i sure don't lie about it. I just avoid them like the plague and if confronted i tell them. I see no reason to pretend to like anyone. It only prolongs the agony and makes the time stand still so..the way i feel, if you don't like me take a number and get in line, but i won't wait in the same line..no siree!

yeah, i do have to pretend. sometimes its just better keeping your thoughts to yourself, otherwise a HUGE bag of drama will arise. i just give the fake smile

I did not pretend to like them but for his sake I would try to be pleasant and polite.

Yeah I think we all do to a certain degree. Unless we really don't like a certain person, then we might speak up, but for the post part people will stand, stand not like, someone they might not like just so things can stay happy in the relationship. Because if you bring something up you run the risk bring tention to the relationship when you don't have to.
