Help answer this question below.
Sorry to say I know nothing, Worzel. Actually we Community Leaders aren't privy to any more information than the rest of the members.
The glitches and slow loading times are definitely below the standard I'm accustomed to on Answerbag. I find that I visit less often and for shorter duration because I get annoyed.
Community Leaders will not know the inner workings of AB problems. They are here to try to keep fools in line not to fix the infrastructure.
They are Social not Techies.
AB will not die.
I think it's safe to say that if the Community Leaders knew, they would have been good enough to share the information with us. Unfortunately, they, too, have been kept in the dark.
I'm relatively comfortable believing that the AB owners would do anything to keep the site from failing. All one needs to do is view the number of advertisers AB has. It's a gold mine...and growing. You don't throw that away.
I see things slowly improving over what it was previously. Whatever the problems, it must be a major challenge to those assigned to fix them. Stick with us!
Good question, though...+5
Oh, they'll fix it up. Patience, Iago!
They KNOW we are not going anywhere, so for their part...'what's the hurry'? If they aren't real careful though we just might get over our addiction and blow this popsicle stand for good.
That's what I was thinking few days ago : AB is on its last breath. It was soooooooooooo slow, and so many glitches.
I think the CLs are as puzzled and concerned as the rest of us.
I hope that AB is not going into catastrophic meltdown and will do a self repair ASAP fingers crossed for good news soon :D+++++
I have experienced the same thing and it's been going on for more than a week. When someone answers my question it will say answer 10 out of 2....it makes no sense. It's also very slow to show you answers to your questions.
No... They don't usually have any more info than we do. They only have a bit more power (and must report all they do to staff.)
No... I don't think AB is dying. It's definitely going through a rough patch, though!
See the blog (Home page, right side, just below your info box) for more about what AB is doing.
Would answering the unanswered questions help at all? If we all did it, we could eliminate the unanswered, and then there would only be a bunch of new ones, theoretically speaking.
After my vigorous moaning AB have fixed the log in issues. A job well done, wouldn't you agree?

When I'm composing a question, the "add description" link doesn't work. Have you had this problem?

I have 52 Alerts and I can't get to the comments. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

Can anyone else use the letter string "omstop", but substituting the "m" with an "n" in their AB content?

Why does the AB "Report" column display incorrectly-- to the point of covering up the comment?

You're reading Do the Community Leaders know anything about why there are so many glitches, do they have any more info than the rest of us? Is AB dying? (I hope not).

I do hope the problems can be resolved. It seems like it's taking a long time to fix.
