North Korea is not to be trusted. They have deceived before and will do it again. They might pretend to close their nuclear plant for now, but in future they will use it to threaten or as a blackmail weapon. They should not be trusted!

Of course it is fair. It is tantamount to 'don't invade us and we won't nuke you'. Sounds fair to me. The US administration will agree to anything with North Korea that isn't an embarrassing climbdown, because IT DOESN'T CARE who has nuclear weapons, it is totally completely and utterly irrelevant. The administration is gearing the world up for an invasion of Iran within 10 years, to nick their oil. The main justification for this, but not the only propaganda we will be fed, will be Iran's nuclear program. To justify an invasion of Iran at that time will require a precedent to be set with North Korea today. The precedent being that the US got involved and managed a diplomatic solution. Something i suspect we will be propagandised to believe was 'impossible', when we finally invade Iran. You have to understand that if there was anything in North Korea worth stealing, the US would have invaded ages ago. They will, therefore, bend over backwards for a diplomatic solution. Thanks for the feedback Slevin (cool name btw). I'm not convinced the Democrats would do it either, the better part of my human nature tells me that to keep their corporate buddies happy, it's only the Republicans that will invade a country, the Democrats just give them tax breaks. The republican administration at the moment however, has to prepare for the fact that they might want to invade in 5 or 10 years time, and the Democrats could be in and back out by then, a bit of preparing for the best case scenario.
