Actually, on Answerbag, you goal is not to ask questions, but to find answers to your questions. Theoretically, you could select the setting "Ask a Question" before typing your question, and directly come to the page where you enter the parameters of your question (category, Video Embed, Reference URL, setting conversational vs. educational). There would just be a short list of three similar questions at the top right. Practically, as you are not supposed just to ask questions, but to look for answers, so with the default setting "Search for Answers", after entering your question, a long list of similar questions and adequate categories are suggested. By exploring those questions and categories, you could sometimes easily find an answer to your question or at least some clues. It could could also be that the same question has already been asked. In this case, just look at its answers. Asking the same question again would produce a duplicate. In Answerbag, there is no possibility to search the database for keywords inside answers. You could have more luck with Google...
