Not for everyday cooking. However I wear one when I am baking (flour is very messy) or if I am hosting a dinner party and don't want my outfit to get splattered or if I am cooking naked.

No, but I really should. I sometimes prepare food or drinks and Wham! My good clothes are ruined.

I have worked in foodservice a lot more than I would like to admit sometimes. I have found that if you're at work it is a must. Especially when dealing with flour. They keep you clean and looking professional. However I never wear an apron at home. I guess with less to cook I'm not as messy. Plus I don't want to make such a big mess in my house so I'm more careful.

Nope. I have 4 of them and I cannot be bothered. I take off my jewels and my silks and satins and fancy robes when I'm in the kitchen so if something splatters no worries. Wearing an apron I associate with the "olden days"..you know, grandma and mom. I'm 71 now and well, darn it, I'm not old enough for an apron yet! :)

Only if I'm frying eggs in the nude. The potential splashback can really make your eyes water.

Generally when I cook I don't bother but I do when baking because I am so messy - it say Crazy Mother Cooker on the front :)
