  • It will take a few more years, but what happens is that the country where all the jobs go gets richer and the workers start insisting on higher wages, and eventually it all evens out.
  • YOur understanding of how the economies of third world countries work needs some help. Many western countries are using these countries to obtain product, but that does not mean that the people making the products will get full pockets. What is paid to the workers in these countries is tantamount to slave labour. Conditions are horrific and they have have no rights. THe only people who make profits are those at the top and those importing from developed countries. I work with the poor in Indonesia and see, on a regular basis, how they are exploited. A necklace that sells on the street for less than $2 AUD is sold in Australia for $80. Who got the profit? Certainly not the person who made it, nor even the middleman. The one making the profit is the person in the developed country.
  • You mean China when you say Asia? Yes. they move the jobs there where workers have zero rights. They work for peanuts far away from family and live in company housing which is basically a warehouse spot the size of a footlocker and are glad to get it. Great companies aren't they? i stopped buying crap made in China if I can possibly afford it. I'd rather buy crap made in Bangladesh than China. DON'T support the CCP, Chinese Communist Party. They kill thousands in China every year just to keep the population scared of them. Over 9 billion killed..almost like McDonalds.
  • If they paid someone here $10.00 an hour and someone there $1,25 The only pockets getting filled is their own. The point your missing when you take to much disposable cash from the people and they can only buy the basics they can't support businesses and they go under, which is happening now.
  • Irony. Because such moving production elsewhere is what caused the current economic crisis.
