Should we call terrorism 'man-caused disasters' or should we keep calling it terrorism?

Man-caused disasters because the word terrorism has acquired so many connotations that don't hold true anymore. Also because to me the word "terrorist" reminds me of Bush and how he used to the word to justify unforgivable actions. Man-cause disasters it is.

Doesn't do it for me. The bridge collapse in Minnesota was a man-caused disaster; not the same thing as terrorism.

They both mean the same thing. The only difference is that the word terrorism is used to create fear, whereas man caused disaster doesn't cause one to freak out. Terrorism makes people afraid, Man Caused disaster make people want the facts and information on it.

Well terrorism is an apparent intentional act, while "disasters" is pretty loose. Still, if in nearly 100 years they switched shellshock to post traumatic stress disorder, they could come up with something. >_>

Even though this administration won't use the words 'war on terror' because they want to look like change we can believe in, it is still the war on terror.A terrorist would like nothing better than to blow up your car when you get in it, man made disasters are usually caused by greed and stupidity.
