  • Vocal chords or written literature does not legitimize a voice.
  • Nature isn't supposed to have a voice, so people who support natural laws aren't at all surprised by it's "silence." Natural laws are observable and testable by just about anyone. By contrast, eye witness testimony is highly unreliable. People who experience certain an unusual phenomenon may attribute it to a god because they are unaware of any alternative explanation. For example, many people who are near death will fall into unconsciousness and will see themselves float from their body or will visualize "the light" (Heaven) or see themselves in the clouds. For years this was proof to many that their god existed. Now we know otherwise: it is, in fact, brought on by a chemical release in the brain when in a mode of panic, and has been exactly replicated in controlled studies. Also, many messengers are just plain charlatans. In North America we have televangelists, who are preachers who go on TV and basically say they are messengers. People just spill money into their lap, it's ridiculous.
  • Who said nature is mute? Are you really listening when she speaks?
  • Pah! Nature IS one of the very voices of God. Nature is not mute. She glorifies the Creator incessantly!
  • Ever listen to the ocean? Rain falling? Wind howling? If you can't hear nature it's because you aren't listening. Nature speaks for herself she don't need no stinkin messengers.
  • Nature is far more believable than god simply because she doesn't have lying crackpot "prophits" running around screaming about how wonderful she is. Nature's gifts are obvious to behold, god needs a marketing campaign.
