  • Depends on what sort of maths, and on the individual in question. I find mental maths and algebra easy. I find mathematical manifolds quite difficult.
  • I don't consider math to be difficult, but based on your question I'd have to say English is difficult for you. The higher level math you get into the more difficult it will become, but I did not find any math classes that I took in high school to be difficult.
  • Some maths is hard. I had a problem with algebra, but aced geometry & trig. To me, it was ALL about the teachers.
  • Not really. Everything in mathematics builds up to the other topic. Algebra builds up on binomials, and that to geometry, And that to trigonometry. It's like a chain, and if broken, then the understandment might be difficult to comprehend. I sucked at Algebra, but when i go the hang of it, I could do other harder stuff, that wasn't really hard because I didn't know the basics to start from. Its like multiplying the following binomial: (x-4)(x+9), if you don't know how to use the distributive property of the FOIL method. *** Remember though, practice makes perfect.
  • It depends mostly on the individual, intelligence is broken up between language and numbers most people are either good at one or the other. I personally am language orientated, and cannot make any sense of maths, however it is possible to bring your understanding of maths up to a suffient level to ensure that it doesn't become a blockade to your future. The majority of people find maths difficult, but often with tutoring and one-on-one help, they can improve, I know I did anyway.
  • Some people think math is easy and some people think math is hard. But, math seems to get hard when you move up into college or even some advanced high school classes. Calculus can be confusing and some advanced classes in Statistics in college.
  • It can be. I was horrible at math for the longest time. I failed most of my math classes in High school I just couldn't understand anything. Now I'm in college and I actually understand it, and I'm finding myself pretty good at it. Just practice practice practice and get the good teachers!
  • No. Maths is the basic language of the universe. Of course, like any language it can be hard if you are taught it badly.
  • Maths is hard if you think it is about numbers. Maths is actually about patterns, and the way things fit together. One little corner is about numbers, and the way numbers make patterns and fit together. That little bit is very useful for lots of everyday tasks, so schools force you to learn it and call what you are learning maths. But actually, maths is about the patterns and shapes in the world, and then about how you get to play with these patterns, and how there can be more patterns just like the ones in the world but *more so*. So if the world has three directions, you ask what it would be like if you had four - and then it turns out that, for some purposes, the world does have four and your "what if" turns out to be useful.
  • It can be really hard but if your having trouble just ask a teacher or get a tutor and then youll be back on track
  • no...because theres always an answer..unlike english where your answer is rated.
  • To me, Maths at my level is not hard (middle school). Sometimes i do not get the correct answer for additional maths.
  • Still remember there a friend called Lucas. The teacher simply say lusai, nobody understands. He continued,"Locus, loci, Lucas, lusai". Tell me if you are laughing.
  • Mathematics is a language. Moreover, it's a language that can describe events in everyday life. It's always difficult to learn a new language, and the golden rule, as always, is to practice every day in every way.
  • i find advanced algebra hard but its easier than quantum physics
