I'd be curious to watch the last episode. I used to be addicted to it for many many years, but I stopped watching in 1998 when they made an evil clone of Reva.

My wife watched it for a while (several years) but even she has nearly stopped watching. I don't believe we'll celebrate, but they have been on the air a long time. note worthy to say the least. Probably replace it with a Shamwow infomercial.

For the longest time, Guiding Light was "my story". I can remember my daughters coming home from school and watching it with me. The evil Reva clone was a terrible story plot but if you allowed yourself to stretch your imagination, you could at least consider it. It was so bizarre I think it made us watch even more. But not long after that I stopped tuning in. It seemed like the entire show revolved around pour Reva who was forever befalling some awful tragedy. I tried to watch it again, hoping to remake it "my story" but when I saw Reva dying (again)and married to Billy while Cassie was married to Josh, that was it. I knew it was just a matter of time before Josh and Reva got back together again. So while I wont celebrate its leaving, I will thank all of the actors and actresses throughout the years who made the Guiding Light. not only MY story but a lot of other peoples stories as well.
