  • I am not an immigration lawyer. I think it is easier to become legal, though, if you wish to come to America to marry an American citizen. I am not sure but having a child helps as well, I believe. I would advise him to return to Mexico and file for legal citizenship. I have a friend who married a foreigner. She became an American citizen once she married him. She was never here illegally, though. As a previous answer said, you really need to find a good immigration lawyer. Pay him whatever he requires to give you some guidance. Good luck!
