If you ride horses, do you ride English or Western, and why did you choose that type of riding? Do you prefer the style you are currently riding, or would you like to switch if you could, or do both?

It all depends on the horse in april i will be showing in walk-trot classes on the pony I ride-Elvis Posting and english riding is better for a horse with a bumpy trot but if the horse has a comfortable trot I'll consider riding western. Western is more cowgirlish but you can still be a cowgirl if you ride english. Western is more comfortable and I love barrel racing but I love show jumping personally I prefer english and what I do know

I ride English but that's because I am in England, and the Western style isn't used here. I'd love to have a go at that style though.
