  • First I'd like to suggest you find out for sure. If you take the home test route, buy at least two of them, and choose different brands. I think the chances of getting the same faulty reading on both of them are practically impossible. You could also go to the doctor. Better to know for sure, right? HOWEVER: I don't think you're pregnant. You can only get pregnant if you're ovulating and the fertilized egg implants itself in the uterine wall. When you're menstruating, you're shedding that uterine wall (looks like blood), so I can't imagine how a fertilized egg could avoid being shed along with the uterine lining. Not to mention, the normal order is that the egg comes out first, and then you start to see the blood. So by the time you had sex, you'd have already lost your egg, and the new egg (next month's egg) wouldn't have descended into your uterus for weeks yet (and sperm can't live in the body that long). As for your period lasting longer than usual, I think, logically, if your body realized you were pregnant halfway through your period, it would cut the period short so as to conserve some of that lining. Without it, I don't think the fetus could develop. Even though it's highly unusual, there are many reasons for an irregular period.
  • of course! AND I recomend a second form of birth control : )
  • Short answer: It is highly unlikely that you are pregnant. It is almost impossible to get pregnant during your period. Long answer: Get a test and go pee on it. Then you know for sure. Why stuff around guessing? Also, stop looking for things that are different (a day longer period is no big deal) as you will read any change into the situation and think you are preggies. Stop worrying and get a test. However, 99.9% chance you are not pregnant.
  • you can get pregant ANYTIME period or not i say if you dont get your next period then take a test.
