I hate my hair, its brown, really curly and past shoulder length. I really want blonde highlights on some curls around my face, but I heard dying curly hair is really bad and im not sure if it will look any good? What do you think I should do with it?

Obviously it's hard to give advice without seeing you but I've never heard that putting some highlights in curly hair is a bad thing. I think the best thing to do is look around for people whose hair you really like and ask them where they get it done and who their stylist is. You can also look for pictures in magazines and cut them out to bring along with you. I'd imagine that some golden highlights and a stylish cut, nothing too drastic, would look terrific!

Here is what you should do: bleach every other curl so that it has a kind of curly checkerboard/zebra stripe effect. It will be unique and awesome.

I think blonde highlights in curly hair looks awesome. I think you should be fine with dying your hair. Just make sure you are using a really good moisturizing conditioner. Highlights really make curls really stand out, I say do it!

My hair is naturally curly, and I dye it all the time. I get it done at the hairdresser, but have used home dyes in the past. Its always been fine
