Well, most cable news has a conservative slant while most network news slants liberally. Really any stance can be justified through either side - liberal simply means progression and change - conservative simply means maintenance of the current norm. Technically speaking, this means that a stance of "pro-choice" is actually a conservative stance, as abortion is currently legal, and "pro-choice" people want to maintain that status quo. The anti-abortionists actually have a liberal stance. Word choice here is important.
