Neither...I am not Catholic and the Dalai Lama is just a money grubbing live off the public low life. I have heard the Dalai Lama speak...send him back where he comes from...and tell him to shut his face.

The Dalai Lama, who lives what he talks about, unlike the Pope.
-
I've no respect for the pope at all. The Dalai Lama at least gives complete respect for science and his statements are not directly leading to the deaths of people (condoms in Africa).
-
Don't care for either.

Even though I was raised as a Roman Catholic, the current pope has never inspired me any feelings of admiration. To me Ratzinger came into office with the old thoughts of previous "administrations". To condemn the use of condoms for one is to me outrageous in the 21st century. The Dalai Lama has accomplished more and does inspire admiration on my part. I'm planning on seeing him when he comes to Vancouver soon.

People admire Sean Penn for being brash and going against what the people think. He challenges the way people think and when he does it he is applauded. When the Pope does it he is ridiculed and called names. I like the Pope for saying what he believes even though he know he will be ridiculed and shunned.

Definitely the Dalai Lama, I consider myself a christian but all these organized denominations are just after one big money grap.
-
The Dalai Lama, especially in light of the Pope's March 17th remarks. "Pope Benedict XVI said condoms are not the answer to the AIDS epidemic in Africa and can make the problem worse, setting off criticism Tuesday as he began a week long trip to the continent where some 22 million people are living with HIV."
