If I understand your question correctly, are you referring to the more fact based questions and answers? If so, I could see a model that is something like a cross between AnswerBag and Epinions. Factually correct answers would earn points and points would equate to a few cents here and there paid for by sponsors and by database subscriptions. I don't think it would work with the current version of AB as it is today, but I do think something like that would be possible.

No way, a lot of the answers come from other sources like wikipedia... and it's not really the commentors information, it would be plaegerism to pay someone to give you someone elses answers. Good question though!

You do get "paid" in a manner of speaking....you recieve points. You can't spend them but you do raise up your level as you gain more points!

no..no..a thousand times no! i had nightmares with mylot Q&A, where you'd earn money for answering and helping people..ok, the money part sounds very lucrative-i love moola! who doesnt! but IMHO, AB is fine the way it is..just points/levels/ratings..i think earning money would make the trolls very happy.
