Awkward -- most people don't realize I'm gay when they meet me, so this does happen from time to time. When I notice it happening, I try to make as natural as possible a reference to my boyfriend to let them backtrack without feeling embarrassed. It is flattering, actually, but when someone's paying you a compliment it seems unkind to let them go all the way out on a limb -- and then saw it off behind them.

It depends on their approach. Sometimes it's awkward, and other times it's actually really amusing.

Flattered, since that's how it was intended. How could anyone be "offended" by a simple flirtation, no matter what the sexes involved? I mean, really.

lol well be openly bisexual I love it !, But and I do mean but there is a fine line between flirting and sleeze and it don't matter which of the sexes it is .. sleeze is never a good thing
