    I almost fell in Mt. Etna. You can walk around the crater's edge and look down at the red hot rock. The edge crumbled and I was hanging over the hole with only one foot on the ground. Fortunately one of the guides grabbed my coat and yanked me away. I was never so happy to see a Sicilian.

    I almost fell into Mt. Etna on the east coast of Sicily. You could walk on the edge of the crater and look into the red hot pool in the bottom. The edge crumbled and I was headed into the pool. Fortunately a guide grabbed my coat and yanked me off the crumbled ledge. I was never so thankful to see a Sicilian.
