If she were to turn round, she'd see the hand mirror one foot away, and then one foot beyond that would be the image of the flower. So the flower image in the hand mirror is 2 feet behind her. If she turns round again and looks at the dresser mirror, the mirror is 4 feet away, her image is another 4 feet away making 8 feet, and the flower image is two feet further making ten feet. This all assumes she has a paper thin and transparent head!

Ok, so she is viewing along several paths: 1) her eyes to the dresser mirror (4 ft) 2) dresser mirror to hand mirror (5 ft) 3) hand mirror to flower (1 ft) But your question was about how far "in back of the dresser mirror" is the image. So, we'd leave out #1 in the calculation, and get: 6 feet.
