That is because there isn't enough republicans. The Democrats have majority vote in everything, no matter what the issue is.
by Randoley on March 30th, 2009
Republicans suck. They made the mess and no cry and moan about Mr. Obama. All they had to do was try for a few minutes to be patriotic, but that's not their code.
by Gene H on March 30th, 2009
I'm not a fan of any politician, I think they are all out for them selves and their buddies, but I wouldn't call even Obama unpatriotic. He he is an elitist, and wants to take our country in the wrong direction, but I think he still loves the country. Just a reminder, the Democrats have had the majority since 2006. Republicans tried warning about the economic problem starting in 2004. The Democratic leaders ignored the warnings because most of them owned stock in Fanny Mae and Freddy Mack. Lindsey Graham was on the TV saying everything is fine keep borrowing at the same time he was going home to his boyfriend who was chief loan officer at AIG at the time.We are in this mess now because of policies and mandates set forth but Clinton and the same goones in power now. The policies forced banks and loan companies to give money to minorities regardless of the ability to pay back the loans, or loose government backing. If you want to we can go into more recent stories of how Obama, Reed, Dodd, Geitner all new gave AIG permission to give out bonuses, but then used unconstitutional threats and extortion to cover up their mistakes.
by Randoley on March 30th, 2009
Wrong direction? You mean you want it to go further DOWN? Democrats had a one senator majority in the Congress along. Your heroes had the executive branch and the supreme court. They also owned all 3 branches for 6 years. You get your news from that fat drug addict on the radio? The neo-cons CAUSED this mess with their 'we like rich people' mentality. If the republican's rule since 1980 was so easily torn down, I say let's have the democrats in POWER, man. They can really make things stick. Actually, you're just another one of those 'I don't think, I let Cheney do that for me!" types. The democrats have made mistakes, but the republicans broke the economy.

The facts are facts, ignore them if you choose.
by Randoley on March 30th, 2009
Ha ha ha ha ha. Fox and O'Brien (whatever his name is). You really like fantasy don'tcha.
by Gene H on March 30th, 2009
I like the number one rated news channel and news commentary program in the nation.
by Randoley on March 30th, 2009
God, your fantasy life is FULL. What do you consider the truth? What you already agree with? You know, taking various points of view and deciding for yourself what you believe isn't such a bad thing. If it changes your mind, then you'll be glad it did. If it doesn't, then you were right all along and now you know it. But if you already know, then others are doing the thinking for you.
by Gene H on March 30th, 2009
Good advise, why don't you try that.
by Randoley on March 30th, 2009
I do. I have. You're the one watching Fox news.
by Gene H on March 31st, 2009
Every thing seems to be the opposite with you doesn't it? Black is white, up is down. You always have such bitterness for every one and every thing. The things you accuse every one else of you are the most guilty of those things. I know this because we banter a lot, and it always leads in the same direction. People who don't agreee with you are not as smart and free thinking, but I have noticed it is you who is like that.I know what the next step is, I'm waiting.
by Randoley on March 31st, 2009
Look, Fox news is real news like the Daily Show is. That fat addict with the funny name is as factual as the Harry Potter books are. Since 1980 (in my estimation it is actually 1968) the country has been conservative. W and Co. had 6 solid years with no substantial opposition yet one lone democratic Senator (the other was absent due to brain desease), according to you, managed to unravel the GOPs agenda in less than 2 years. How you could blame the recession on the democrats is beyond me. You holy roller republicans are just like W; unable to admit mistakes or fault. Mr Obama has made mistakes and has stepped right up to the podium and admitted them. You guys with your 'never show weakness' stupidity are a laughing stock. That's not my fault.
by Gene H on March 31st, 2009
When you see actual video of these people saying and doing things, when you hear their voices saying these things, when you see documentation of the things they have done, then it is obvious what has happened, if you wish to see it. Fox News provides those sources. You are doing it again, accusing me of doing what you are doing. You know very little of what is actually going on in this country. I'm afraid you are like most people, which is the reason we ended up with Obama.
by Randoley on March 31st, 2009
Context. Bet your school marm tried to teach you. The fat man has been caught in more lies than 10 car salesmen, too. Besides, your heroes broke the economy, and not one will stand up and admit it. The country is hungry for humanity. You pocketbook brains are the new T-Rexes. Spin, interpret. . .however you want to say it, you lie your way from one property to the next. Fox news. Popeye would be a better source.
by Gene H on March 31st, 2009
number one news source for a reason.
by Randoley on March 31st, 2009
Number one to whom? Besides, "Bonanza" was a # 1 TV show. Didn't make it good. You love the fat man, Boss Limbaugh. If journalistic crimes got you 10 minutes for each lie, he'd get 1,000 years. Fox news is pretty much like that. O'Brien is entertainment, like The Daily Show. Only the Daily Show has to remind people that they are joking.

Ha! Randoley, you're as hilarious as Boss Limbaugh himself.

Neo-cons. Nazia thought THEY were the informed ones too. I pity you. I really do.
by Gene H on March 31st, 2009
It is the tactic of the liberal after no longer being able to dispute the facts to resort to name calling and discrediting.
by Randoley on March 31st, 2009
You win, W. You win. Good luck with the future!
by Gene H on March 31st, 2009
It's the tactic of the Con Man to smear, set up and then scewer straw men, obfuscate, cite facts without any true basis in fact. I'm not retreating from your nonsense. You shall know them by their fruits.
