How many pens do you typically carry around with you when you're out and about - and where/how do you carry it/them?

I try to carry one in my shirt pocket. Sometimes it isn't there though. I also keep some in the glove compartment of both vehicles.

i have to carry a 12 pack everywhere i go. then another hidden secretly in case i lose the 12 pack. then another because i dont like uneven numbers. so 14 in total.

I always have one in my Bag and in the pocket of the car.If I am carrying a briefcase maybe two or three in that.

if I have my handbag with me, there are usually like 5 pens somewhere inside. I also sometimes carry one in my hair when I wear it up!

I carry a pen in my left shirt pocket almost always. I also carry a small pocket diary in the same pocket. When I am in the farm it is usually a ball point pen in my T-Shirt pocket to note down anything that I must remember - from accounts to things that must be taken care of. When I go to the town or the city I take care to carry my Parker set of an ink pen and a ballpoint pen in the pocket of a formal shirt. Ink pen for signing and the ball point pen to note down or check off anything I might have noted down. I don't carry around any electronic notebook computer sort of thing. A pocket diary and pens do the job well enough for me.

Typically, I carry around 0 pens. However, when I carry something else (like a backpack, briefcase, or portfolio), I have at least one pen.

One in my purse, which is clipped to my checkbook. I also have a pencil in the purse. But I usually take along a nice, large tote bag as well, in which I have my store coupons, extra kleenex, about 5 pencils and a red pen in the side pocket. I put the tablet on which we write the list of things we need to do that day, my grocery list, whatever, in that tote bag as well and I check them off as we accomplish them. :)

I have a leather penholder which was given to me as a gift with a fountain pen and roller ball pen. I usually carry these in my handbag.

I carry a pen clipped above the 1st shirt button on polo shirts-sometimes 2. Used to also carry an emergency small "space pen" in my left pants' pocket, but lost it.
