  • One does not have a "right" to pollute the air of others. I think they have gone too far if they have banned smoking in your car when you are the only passenger. But smoking is certainly not a "right" like voting.
  • That's rough. But somewhere in California they're gonna start mandating the color of peoples cars. Apperantly dark cars are bad for the environment!? Just don't blame the conservatives please...
  • That's ridiculous. I went to school in Bloomington (Go Hoosiers!) in the early eighties. It was a pretty conservative town back then but the prospect of an ordinance like that would have seen protesters marching in the streets. I don't need government (Local, state, or federal) protecting me from me. So long as the people do not care to exercise their freedom, those who wish to tyrannize will do so; for tyrants are active and ardent, and will devote themselves in the name of any number of gods, religious and otherwise, to put shackles upon sleeping men. --- Voltaire
