In Bloomington Indiana they have past an ordinance that you can not smoke in your car. You also can not smoke in public areas in the town. How do you feel about your individual rights being watched?

One does not have a "right" to pollute the air of others. I think they have gone too far if they have banned smoking in your car when you are the only passenger. But smoking is certainly not a "right" like voting.

That's rough. But somewhere in California they're gonna start mandating the color of peoples cars. Apperantly dark cars are bad for the environment!? Just don't blame the conservatives please...

That's ridiculous. I went to school in Bloomington (Go Hoosiers!) in the early eighties. It was a pretty conservative town back then but the prospect of an ordinance like that would have seen protesters marching in the streets. I don't need government (Local, state, or federal) protecting me from me.
