Do you use the stove or the micro to prepare cheese-sandwiches?

I used a toaster oven. When I try to fry them they turn into grease bricks or get crazy glued to bottom of the pan. I never thought of using the microwave. Is that possible?

I don't know anyone who makes them in a microwave. They are going to get brown and toasty there. I make them on the stove top in a griddle pan or skillet.

I used to use the Toastmaster sandwich maker, until someone else in the house threw it out without telling me (still holding a grudge). It sure made the prettiest grilled cheese sandwiches.
