i have my tongue done. the swelling of course is normal but i would say that the ball should not be able to fit in the hole. are you sure its just not your tongue swelling around the ball? the ball is too big and the hole they put is way too small. if this is this case and its really in there, call the place you got it done at. they might have you come in for another look and they should guide you in the right direction. if not, and they say this is normal, i would see a doc.

I go see a doctor or call the folks that did the piercing and see what they say.
I'm thinking off getting my tongue pierced and I'm wondering about what it's like, anyone who's had it done, care to share? Thank you.

You're reading I got my tongue pierced a few days ago and it's still swollen. I noticed that the bottom ball of my barbell is in my tongue. I can still feel it with my fingernail ibut I can't get it to get back through the hole. Will the hole close up over the ball?
