Give. I love to find that PERFECT gift. I like to find the gift that will touch the heart and soul of the receiver. The best Christmas ever was a few years ago when I made EVERYONE cry...Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, both sisters, and my godparents. : )

Definately easier to give ... But that's also made it difficult to ask for help as I've come to need some. When help is given, I've had to learn how to gracefully accept and say thank you. In both cases, it's not as clear cut as it might appear. So much depends on "attitude". No matter if giving or receiving, there MUST be dignity on both sides with and from BOTH people. If either is closed or "into it" for their own purposed vs "the other" .. it fails to go well. When it doesnn't, it's degrading or arrogant. When it does, it's not only helpful - it's truly a beautiful thing - in deed - and in spirit.
