  • No - I have more than enough problems keeping up with everything I have to do and all the decision making in this one. Imagine if it divided off everytime we made a decision - one for each choice. It would be pretty crowded out there in prallel space with everyone's universes bumping into each others. Don't want to even think about it!!!!!
  • I don't actually understand them, I've read about them but saying that, I don't understand how electricity works either, but I believe in that. It's strange to think that their is another me somewhere doing what I am doing now but in another universe. Do you believe in them? What are your thoughts?
  • No, I do not. It is just an idea some sci-fi writer came up with for a story, and some people started believing it's true. There are so many of these things, it would be hard to believe them all (remember the story about another earth identical to ours, but exactly opposite us on the other side of the sun, so we never know it's there?). I think we'd do well to try and fix the one we're in without worrying about a second one. Anyway, just my humble opinion....
  • I was only on the phone to myself this morning to see how the weather was over there ... I had an argument with me and got so pissed of with me I hung up ... moody shit I am ... Anything is possible ....
  • Yes i do. I am fascinated by them I love reading about M-theory and stuff. I just don't understand the mathematics they use to determine the shapes of the universes.
  • I personally believe in parallel universes and extra dimensions that we do not have the faculties of mind to perceive. Human consciousness is limited so we can never be sure, but string theory does make it a very real possibility
  • I'm convinced after watching the Seinfeld episode where the entire cast is the exact opposites.
  • oh most definatly!!! like to think there is another me doing really really well and flip side i'm probably scraping bubble gum off the street!!
  • hey you basically just stole my question
  • Yah I believe in them, like someone may say what if I do this over or whatever your parrelle self is.
  • I don't care about that. . It sounds like a nice story for sci-fi movies to bring the audience unacquainted with science to the cinemas and inspire unwarranted awe with bullshit stories that have nothing to do with real science. . It's one of those theoretical things that mainly serves as a thought experiment and for philosophical divagations.
