  • For hygienic purpose it's good thing to do!
  • Most Americans are stupid and media addicted. They don't think for themselves. They don't educate themselves. They just go along with whatever they are told. Case in point, the "hygiene" claim. Most Americans are taught to believe that intact men are unable to wash their penises. As if we are somehow less intelligent because we have an intact body. "Duh, how do I use this faucet and wash rag again? I forgot." The truth is, the foreskin is nowhere near as hard to clean as the vagina. The vagina also has more moisture and smegma than the penis. We don't cut our females, tho. Just the baby boys. It started in the 1890's. Some quack who invented corn flakes came up with the idea that masturbation led to mental illness. So to cure masturbation, he began to circumcise little boys and little girls. Other quacks chipped in, claiming they had cured paralysis with circumcision. All those little boys and little girls grew up thinking their mutilated genitals were normal and so they had their children mutilated also. It was a good business back then. People were just starting to deliver children in hospitals and it was a kind of "add-on sale". Around the 1950's, people decided it was cruel to keep burning the clits off little girls with acid so female circumcision waned and was eventually banned. Still, we kept chopping up little boys. The reason is three-fold. Firstly, the increasingly powerful medical industry realized neonatal foreskin tissue was extremely valuable. It could be used in all kinds of products. They didn't want to give up the income so they continued to promote circumcision. Secondly, Americans are politically hesitant to speak out against circumcision as many people who condemn circumcision are portray as anti-semites. Freedom of religion over here trumps the human right to a whole body, apparently. Thirdly, nobody over here in the states wants to admit that cutting off a good hunk of the penis damages it. Guys are so wrapped up in their penis ego they get hysterical if you suggest their dicks are messed up. Like female genital mutilation in Africa, men in the USA will tell you their cut up dicks are cleaner, sexier and the women like it better. Not true, but they like to think that, and will often cuss you up and down for suggesting otherwise. There is a movement to stop circumcision in the states. We call ourselves Intactivists. We are often labeled crazy people, kooks, etc. But through our efforts, more and more people are becoming educated. The circ rate has dropped from 90% in the 70's down to about 50% currently. Right now, the medical industry and Israeli interest groups who call themselves Operation Abraham are trying to get those circ rates up again by promoting the fallacy that circumcision prevents AIDS, but it is not true. They have 3 flawed studies in Africa to quote, but those studies have been roundly condemned and ridiculed. They gave it a good go, but they are starting to back off that stand due to a huge amount of outrage and negative publicity-- especially on the internet. There are literally dozens of studies showing circumcision increases AIDS transmission, but these are often glossed over because America is still unable to face the nasty truth about circumcision.
