  • NFL football fields are indeed wider. They are 160 feet wide, while NCAA fields are only 100 feet wide. (NCAA dimensions can be found here: http://www.ncaa.org/champadmin/football/football_field.html ) All other major dimensions are the same, with 100 yards from goal line to goal line, 10-yard deep end-zones, and goal posts that are 18.5 feet spart. I'm not positive about high-school football fields, but I believe they are supposed to be the same as college fields.
  • The truth is that all football fields have exactly the same dimensions. The reason NFL fields look wider is that the hash marks in the middle of the field are closer together than they are in college football.
  • All Football fields are 53yds 1 foot wide. And, they are 120 yds long. The only difference is the placement of the hash marks. In the NFL they are in line with each side of the goal post(18.5ft). In college and high school the hash to sideline is 30 yds and the hash to hash is 13yds 1 ft
  • Bucky, according to your referenced web sight the NCAA field is 160ft which is 53yds 1ft.
