If you suspected your computer might be infected with malware/ a worm or something that your anti virus, anti-spyware and firewall don't detect, how could you go about testing/ finding out?

Simple way: Run task manager and check if there's anything running in the background you aren't aware of. Or run Msconfig and check what programs start automatically.
