Thatd odd !!! Are you pretty sure that person did not drink ???
-
You may be being duped, alcoholics are very very good at deception. Also look at your own reasons for your open acceptance, the pain the truth may bring you. Are you being a codependent to the drinker? Remember Denial:- it's not just a big river in Egypt.

Unless they drink a large amount of mouthwash there is no reason that a person would smell like alcohol without using it.

Could be a result of products he/she uses. Many hairsprays and deodorants have a strong alcohol smell to them and so do quite a few other things which are alcohol based. < But keep in mind alcoholics can be very clever at disguising their drinking habits >
-
I know that alcoholics usually smell like alcohol, but I've never heard of this lasting for many months after he/she stopped drinking. I would err on the side of caution and assume that the person has started drinking again.
-
Depending on the length of time and how much was consumed in order to keep the odor for quite some time. It releases from the pores over time. Which means they are still an alcoholic until they pass the urges and odors.
-
This person has been drinking, or it's just your imagination.
-
Maybe this person was bangin' a drunk hooker? I dunno...Beats me!
-
Uh huh... It's not wine in my glass then, just a holy water.
-
Sounds like a closet drinker to me.
