Why do SOME men think that they are God's gift to women??? Is it mother issues, father issues...what do you think?

Probably for the SAME reason that so many women - females THINK they are God's gift to men .... They are simply a legend in their own mind ; they are so stuck on themselves ....

It takes guys awhile to clue it that it is not all about them. The center of the universe over time shifts to the woman they love and the family. Men are just idiots until the get around 30 and take a look around and say "Holy shit I need to get it together!"

I think its also tradition. The way you are brought up as well. In a lot of traditions, men don't have to do anything around the house and they provide. Women don't work and "need" a man to support them, so that's why some men think there so great.

women issues. the arrogant jerks who think of themselves first have mostly learned to be that way because that is what works on the women... also the whole selfesteme push teaches us from a young age to think we are great even if we are a piece of crap.

I think sometimes men who have been hurt in the past put up a sort of false front of over confidence as a way to protect themselves. True some men are purely ignorant but it really isn't that simple every time. Also, it's important to remember that men are raised in the US anyway with certain expectations. Portraying confidence in their actions is what society expects of a man. While I am a strong advocate of equal rights and strong women I think in some ways women are being a tad selfish when they bash men out of hand. It's hard to be a man too you know. With all the mixed messages boys, young men and older men get I can understand to some extent why some would cover their true feelings under a layer of put up over confidence.

childhood issues. they were either really popular in school especially with the girls... OR.. they weren't popular at all and were bullied so they tried to change themselves to appear popular.
