Yes and so should all school meals.

In the richest and most powerful country in history, even in these hard times, every child should be entitled to free medicine, food, and shelter at night, whether or not my taxes go up. Schools should be good, too, since education is compulsory. It all goes toward making MY life better, anyhow.
