500-1000 piece , cardboard, square and round. I like doing them but have a hard time finding the time! It's a great hobby though and it's easy to keep the puzzles after they are assembled. There is a mounting glue that you can put over the puzzle and then you can hang it up to view of you want to..or you can trade off puzzles with other people too!

You left out 3-D jigsaw puzzles. Some of them are pretty cool! I've built a couple of those and they are fun to do.

The ones that stand up.

I've a twelve-piece wooden one of a duck with an umbrella that always ends up on the floor of my toddler's playroom. All the sodding umbrella pieces look identical at 1am when I'm trying to tidy up after a long day!

I don't have the patience for them deb. They drive me nuts! The work is tedious! A jigsaw puzzle fan I am not! :) ((hugs))

I've only ever done the flat cardboard picture puzzles. I like doing them but haven't in many years.
