It depends upon the cindition of the animal. your decision to kill should come out of pity.

Yes. I believe it is okay to kill an animal that is too sick to survive, to kill an animal for food, or to kill an animal in self-defense.

It depends If the animal Is sick and very badly with no cure then yes.

As long as the animal is not an endangered specie, was raised with the intention of making it food for humans and as long as it is legal - it is okay to kill the animal/bird for human food. Under no other circumstance will the killing of an animal can be pardoned.
