100 watt, but there are some lamps in the house that I think are 75 or something.

55w, 60w, 75w, 100w, and some 3 three ways. I have a big ole round one with no markings on it. I'm afraid to screw it in any where.

Just as I was leaving New Zealand, the government was talking about bringing in a new law that banned the old type of light bulb. the modern energy efficient light bulbs appeared to be of little use when it comes down to reading books, the amount of light given off was by far to low. So I always used normal light bulbs with a power rating of 100 watts.
-
60 watt compact fluorescent in most places to save electricity and 50 watt halogen in the track light.
-
60 watt light bulbs seem to be just right.
-
60 watts.:)

16W... though they are CFLs so they are bright enough (60W equivalent). For the bedroom and the range hood, I use 40W-equivalent CFLs.

I used to use mainly 100w, but now they're not on sale in the UK (the government thinks it's going to save the planet by having us live in the dark), so I buy 20w Energy-Saving bulbs, which are crap! They take time to 'warm up', they give off a weird, fluorescent kind of light, and they don't dim when you use a dimmer switch - they're either just fully on or off.

Mainly 20 and 40 watts light tubes and not light bulbs.
