  • I would say the youngest. Most of them get spoiled by their parents. They get to see what mistakes their older siblings made and try not to do the same. And i have noticed sometimes parents are more lenient towards them.
  • The oldest because you are presumed to be the most responsible out of all your siblings. Parents trust you and they got your back all the way. You've been through life longer than any of your siblings. You know the ways, hows things are done, and how to get around.
  • I think each one has their own advantages and disadvantages.
  • In reality, we don't really get a choice, so to say it's advantage to be one or the other when you don't get a choice seems unfair. i'm the eldest, i like it, never had a problem and i would not change it.
  • I think they all have disadvantages and advantages. The oldest and youngest probably have it the worst. I was a middle child, so I think I was abit luckier maybe. It also depends a great deal on how the parents treat the kids of course.
  • There are advantageous traits to each position of birth order: --Oldests typically make good leaders and strive to please others. --Middle children tend to be peace keepers, since they are used to mediating older & younger siblings. --Youngest children are typically easygoing, charming, perceptive (picking up on non-verbal cues and body language), outgoing, active, optimistic, happy and confident. I say youngest...you're always the baby and everyone excuses you. Fun Quiz http://www.blogthings.com/birthorderpredictorquiz/
  • problably oldest
  • Youngest, we get away with murder.
  • I think the youngest, because you learn off from your siblings mistakes, if you are smart that is.
  • I likeed being the youngest in that I was spoiled a bit more but .. the others were out of the house back in my rebellious youth days so there was no one else around to blame things on.
  • From what I have seen (so basically out of me and my sister), oldest gets the better deal. However that is more because my mum actually wanted my sister, and didn't want me
  • Sociological research says that the oldest children are more likely to have leadership positions and higher incomes later in life than their younger siblings. Many people I know say that the youngest child has it easiest, because by that time the parents are no longer novices and hyper-nervous about everything the child does; but at the same time, I've seen families where the parents cling to the youngest child and try to keep her or him a baby forever, because they know it's their last one. Middle child: I know some middle children in girl-girl-boy and boy-boy-girl families who feel like (or were TOLD) that they weren't really wanted; that the family was trying to get a child of the sex opposite to the oldest child, and got "stuck" with a child of the same sex instead. I don't know how kids in X-Y-X or Y-X-Y families feel about being in the middle, or how kids in families of 4+ feel about it.
  • I am the oldest and very glad I was. The middle child, kind of got "lost" in the chaos and the yongest brother was coddled to no end and grew up to be well, how can I put this.......Interesting and not in a good way.
  • as a middle kid myself..we are crazy and lost lol. i would say the oldest is definitely the one that usually ends up the most sucessful.
  • "The youngest!!"
