Short Answer: No. Quite the opposite in fact. Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. AND, these words of Peter from the day of Pentecost were a gloss from this passage in the Old Testament book of Joel that says: Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. So apparently this is so important that it's in the Bible not just once but twice.

No it doesn't. God has said he will do nothing without telling his servants the prophets. A belief that there will be no prophets on earth in the last days implies a belief that God will do nothing in the last days. And that would be an enormous change for an unchanging God.

I must concur with those posters before me. The Bible, to my recollect, does not state specifically there will NOT be any Prophets IN THE LAST DAYS. But there are plenty of scriptures that imply there will in fact be Prophets called. I shall just list a few. 1.Daniel 2;44.."And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever." First of all, anytime God does anything on earth that will affect all of mankind, He always calls a prophet. He has done this for 4000+ years of Biblical History. 2.There is only one way this kingdom, God was going to set up in the Last days,(read the whole chapter) would stand forever, and that is if God was going to direct it by revelation through a Prophet on earth. Now point #2. Rev.14;6,7.."And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.") Question..Who is this Angel going to appear too, with this Everlasting Gospel? It does not say the Angel is going to preach this Gospel, but that it to be preached to every nation, kindred, tongue and people. And since this is to happen in the last days, will it not possibly be the same Prophet Daniel implies in Chap.2? However, if the kingdom, the God of heaven is going to setup in the last days, is going to stand forever, will it not require someone on earth? To guide and direct it as the Lord above demands? Of necessity it will require many Prophets to guide this Church while on earth. And would not the Lord establish an organization exactly like the one Jesus setup while he was on earth? I would think so! You cannot change something that is perfect, and still make it perfect! These are just a few instances where a Prophet or Prophets are implied...Later
