Why is east tennessee's wheather so messed up? one day its 30 then the next its 70 then it snows in july.

This is why its called "the three states of Tennessee". Each third has its own different type of weather. Cold in the mountains of the east. Hot in lowlands of the west. And, just perfect in Middle Tennessee. We have more sunshine in Tennessee, than Florida. Right now, its sunny and 65 in nashville. not bad.

hey TN isnt the only place! I live in south FLORIDA and us too will go from 30 one day, cold and dry, to 80 the next, hot & muggy. i believe its all rooted in global warming, and the climate changing on a grand scale. get used to it because weather is gonna start going to the extremes. i think it might also be a sign of the impending apocalypse.

I depends on which part you live in. I live in Knoxville in the east part of the state. Knoxville is in a valley surrounded by mountains and ridges. That has a lot to do with it. A lot of the cold and bad weather gets knocked off of us or it can get stuck over us because we are in a hole.

It was 28 degrees last night in Nashville and today it hit 68 degrees. I first left the house in a goosedown jacket. By 2 pm, i thought about applying some suntan lotion. Wacky weather. isn't it like this in the dessert? No wonder i cannot get rid of my cold/flu.
