Someone who has been working "off the books" for 5 years, will likely owe a lot of money in back taxes. I would love to see them file a return. Collecting these unpaid taxes will eventually result in a lower tax burden for us honest, tax paying citizens.

No I don't have a SSN since I came to US on tourist visa which has been expired a long time ago. The thing is my ex-boss never ihnformed me that I can pay my taxes by aquiring Individual Taxpayer Identification Number(issued by IRS for those who can't get SSN).He nevfer even mentioned the W2 form; so I worked off the payroll for 5 years assuming that I had no other choice. Now that I contacted IRS and found out that I can apply for ITIN, my "dear" boss refused to issue me W2 and denied that I ever worked for him; he even denied knowing me. How can I proove to IRS that I worked there at all? I want to may back all my taxes but how can I do it now?
