Help answer this question below.

How long can you type without looking at the keyboard and without making a mistake? Try typing your answer without looking at the keyboard, and don't correct any spelling errors ;)

    When I type, the only time I look at the keyboard is when I need to make some of the symbols on the top of the numbers row. I do make mistakes, but can also correct them without looking.

    And this is the monumental question I chose for my 2000th answer :)

    I always semi look at the keyboard when I type. I will make so many typing errors its better for me to look at it every once in a while then making tons of mistakes then having to go back and fix them all after.

    I took a class on this for a year, but it takes me forever to actually type all of this without error becuase I have to tihnk about where the letters are in relation to my fingers. I can guarantee you this is going to have taken me 6 minutes by the time I am finished.

    (I made two mistakes [think] [6, rather than 5])

    So that was about a sentence and a half. Hm.

    Yes I type at an adjusted speed of 70 wpm when I'm really into it.

    As I'm just sort of typing now to you I type at about 50 to 60 wpm because I'm relaxed and thinking about what I'm going to type next.

    I do make plenty of mistakes but I know about it right after I make them and hit backspace without ever looking at the keyboard.

    I seem not able to touch type on this at all.

    I type far more mistakes on my laptop, than on my desk top due to the size of the keyboards and my big, fat fingers. I can type on neither without looking at the keyboard, and I try to correct all my mistakes.

    i am the same as drublic, the only tim i look is to do some certian symbols, other than that i am totally familiar with the keyboard. this is my answer not looking agt the keyboard at all.
