Why answer Q's with nonsense? Like a question about if you were married and _________..., and answering "I would never get married" Then don't answer the question, right?

Sometimes this happens just because people want attention, or because they like to "hear the sound of their own voice". It really isn't a helpful practice, I recommend pointing that out politely when it seems fitting. If you don't have something interesting to say in response to a question, don't answer. Telling someone you don't want to answer the question just wastes everybody's time.

Perhaps a sad attempt to be funny? Liking the idea of putting down a genuie question via an unintelligent answer? The troll factor also comes to mind.
