That really depends on what your doing. For museums and eating. Not too much 200E if your frugal. 3 would be better though.

When I was backpacking I got by on £30 a day including accommodation... we went easy on the hash and didn't indulge in any "red light" wares though, I don't know what you have planned ;) but I would say that £150 would be plenty unless you have really expensive tastes. Also, I recommend the Anne Frank house and the Heineken brewery tour!

If you,ve got it, I reckon 500 quid would give you a great 3 days or if you're on a budget even half of that should see you through. Enjoy!

I did 2 days on 120E, but it depends on what sort of places you want to eat, how you're spending your evenings etc. After one afternoon of sampling some Amsterdam chocolate brownies, we spent the evening wandering around amazed by the Red Light district which turned out to be a very cheap evening!!

£300 would be good, enough to get drunk, buy some weed and eat well. You might even have some spends. When I was last there (about 3 years ago), prices were much the same as in Manchester. Lager was dead cheap. About £7-8 equivalent to get into the museums. I liked the the Riechsmuseum better than the Van Gogh museum although both are worth visiting. Food is delicious, and reasonable. Some really great coffee shops, I liked the Greenhouse. You will have a brill time.
