Nope. it would bankrupt the country more than it is . 80% of cases never go to court due to plea bargains. We have way too many petty crimes that would keep our courts tied up 24 hours a day and ridiculous expense. Imagine if every kid busted with a dimebag of pot actually went to court. Plea bargaining is often the only leverage we have to get details on other cases. Many big fish would walk if we lose our ability top plea bargain with the little fish.

so what you get the guy who sells nickle and dimes, cause there is no insentive for him to turn in the guy above him?
