I would lean more towards eclectic rather than traditional. Although some tools I have acquired could be labeled as traditional the bottom line was that I was drawn to them. i.e. I bought my cauldron because it was feasible and cleansed when I got home, yet I made my own broom. If you are asking for advice, my advice would be to follow your inner spirit. I am a solitary witch although I have attended a couple of coven gatherings. Covens just aren't for me. I have found through the many years that incantations, tools, and such have better results when you personalize them, when they mean something to you, or especially when you are drawn to it. If you chose to buy something traditional, make it your own by redesigning it or something. ~Blessed Be~

I use the word "Wicca" as Scott Cunningham did, to the consternation of British traditionalists. As far as I'm concerned, "Wicca" refers to religious Witchcraft, of whatever stripe. . I believe the heart of Wicca is communion with the Goddess, and the measure of the path is the degree to which it facilitates that for you. If a well laid-out format does that, fine; if just sitting and talking to the Goddess does that, fine. . True religion isn't about keeping rules or getting accreditation from someone else. True religion is walking with the gods. Many people don't seem to be focused there, so you may sometimes feel alone on this path. Don't let that discourage or distract you; stay on the path, and you'll be glad you did.

Solitary Eclectic with a twitch or two of gnostic. I've been known to run with scissors in my hands occasionally... knowing fully well I shouldn't.
