  • Well.... what I would do if I were you would be to look at the international age of consent chart... just search in your favorite search engine legal age of consent..... there at the bottom are all 50 states and their legal ages to do such things as have sex... but to the best of my knowledge I do belive the legal age is 16
  • Sorry Salvar, but I think Mr. Webb hit the nail on the head. The pivotal fact is whether the two folks who are going to be having sex have both reached the age of consent in their jurisdiction. In the State of California, for example, where both Salvar and I live, it is illegal for a couple to have sex if either one is under the legal age of consent, i.e., 18. And, despite what Salvar says, it is also illegal if both folks are under 18. However, and in reality, according to a local criminal lawyer who confirmed the preceding and whose opinion I respect without question, the District Attorney isn't too concerned with prosecuting kids for having sex *unless* a child is born as a result.
  • It might not be worth the risk. Here's what I think is the relevant Kentucky law on the subject: Sec. 11.41.436. SEXUAL ABUSE OF A MINOR IN THE SECOND DEGREE. (a) An offender commits the crime of sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree if (1) being 17 years of age or older, the offender engages in sexual penetration with a person who is 13, 14, or 15 years of age and at least two years younger than the offender, or aids, induces, causes or encourages a person who is 13, 14, or 15 years of age and at least two years younger than the offender to engage in sexual penetration with another person; (2) being 17 years of age or older, the offender engages in sexual contact with a person who is under 15 years of age or aids, induces, causes, or encourages a person under 13 years of age to engage in sexual contact with another person; (3) being 17 years of age or older, the offender engages in sexual contact with a person who is under 17 years of age, and the offender is the victim's natural parent, stepparent, adopted parent, or legal guardian; (4) being 17 years of age or older, the offender aids, induces, causes, or encourages a person who is under 15 years of age to engage in conduct described in AS 11. 41. 455 (a)(2) - (6); or (5) being 17 years of age or older, the offender engages in sexual contact with a person who is under 15 years of age, and (A) the victim at the time of the offense is residing in the same household as the offender and the offender has authority over the victim; or (B) the offender occupies a position of authority in relation to the victim. (b) Sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree is a class B felony . == It seems like Paragraph (2) is relevant to your question. It refers to "sexual contact" rather than "sexual penetration," as other parts of the law do. While Paragraph (2) seems to say it's OK (he's 16 or older, you are NOT under 13), I would try to find some way to check with a legal expert. It would be really horrible for you two to be separated by some kind of legal action. As far as dating, 2 years apart is a still a while away and when you're 15 and 17. It's not the same as 20 and 23, or 18 and 21. You might want to do things with a few other people, rather than going out on a solo "date" until you are really sure of what your feelings are about each other. As far as the sex goes, if you are going to risk it and do it no matter what the law says, be sure you understand what kind of accidents can lead to possible pregnancy. And be sure you don't put yourselves in a place where you are likely to be discovered doing it. That would definitely kill the fun and the romance. Finally, at 15 you may or may not realize the difference in love and sex. Your boyfriend at 16 probably DOES realize the difference. If he's a cool guy, then talk about this and the risks and see if you can hold off for a while. Good luck. You obviously have a lot of good sense because you took the time to ask this question. Hope I Helped!
  • whenever you want just don't let anyone find out
  • no sex
  • The age difference could complicate the arrangement in ways you can't imagine. Proceed with caution. When one turns 18, they become an adult, and it's "hands off" the minors.
  • As soon as your pa puts away the shotgun.
  • jsut don't let anyone know and don't get pregnat that u r kool
  • YES, YOU CAN DO THAT NOW~ http://moraloutrage.net/staticpages/index.php?page=Kentucky go to the link above. OF COURSE there is a difference if you are both under 18!!! Basically you can have sex in Kentucky, but not up the A... since that forbidden at any age. Despite what anybody say, the usa is not that backwards. Most state administrations think that its bad to make teensex a crime. Thanks to a young man, Gennarlow Wilson, from Georgia, they started to change the law on this. He is a black kid got a CONSENSUAL BJ on New Years Eve from a 15 y.o. white girl. He went to jail, but fought like crazy and now he is free, and the law in Georgia, as well as the majority of other states has changes because of that. 17-15, it's ridiculous, shouldn't even be a a question. 17-13 is even allowed in many states, as is 18-14. If the ages are close, like 3(Texas) or 4 years (most every other states) then you can have sex. Having said this, you have noticed by the amounts of people willing to feed you false info, that people around you aren't really ready for this, but in the end ... THE LAW IS AT YOUR SIDE, not theirs. Use a condom!! seeing as how he's 15 that can be a challenge. Just remember, boy can you pregnant, whether they're 11 or 85 ....
  • whenever you want just don't let anyone find out
  • Most states give about a 5 year age spread among minors and greatly favor ignoring it if the girl younger than the boy. The big thing is use effective birth control. He's too young to accept financial responsibility as a father.
